A Study of Carbon Stock Changes in the Alpine Grassland Ecosystem of Zoigê, China, 2000–2020

Terrestrial carbon sequestration capacity is an important indicator of ecosystem service function, and the storage value can reflect climate regulation regional ecological environment. The Zoigê alpine grassland a representative area Qinghai-Tibet Plateau ecosystem, with types such as marsh meadow also water-conserving in upper reaches Yangtze River Yellow River. In this study, based on land use/cover change pattern region from 2000 to 2020, density coefficients corrected by average annual precipitation temperature factors were used assess stocks for three periods 2020 using InVEST model. results showed that 786.19 Tg, 780.02 775.22 Tg 2000, 2010, respectively, cumulative loss 10.97 densities 183.70 t/ha, 182.26 181.14 showing decreasing trend year year. stock absolute contributor stock, accounts 75.28% total stock. increase cultivated lower decrease higher are main leading grassland.
